Brandon Struebing

Brandon Struebing oldest of six children. His siblings are Rachelle, beloved Caitria, Cara, Parker and Evan. Arthur and Tammy Stuebing are his parents. When talking about his family and parish, Brandon says, "We have always been a busy and well loved family, I would not be as happy as I am today without them. Our home parish, is Saint Michael's in Albion, Nebraska. Saint Michael's has recently started more frequent Eucharistic exposition and has always been blessed with a thriving grade school with much community support."

Struebing describes his journey to the seminary and to vocational discernment as follows, "It was at a JC Camp retreat right before high school when I first awakened to God's compassion and love. After that first year, I always knew that the only true and unfailing joy in life was to love Christ through His bride, the Holy Catholic Church. As Saint Padre Pio said, "She alone possesses Christ in soul, body, and divinity, in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the altar." Over the next several years, I discovered a yearning in my soul for God which might possibly be fulfilled with a vocation to the priesthood. I had a wonderful year at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, but now, God seems to want me in the seminary."

Brandon attends Sain John Vianney College Seminary in St. Paul, MN. He particulary enjoys being at a seminary surrounded by the Univerisity of Saint Thomas. He says, "Saint Thomas with the deep roots of the Catholic faith in the community to help me discern God's Will.

To those whom Christ has implanted the seed of a possible priestly vocation, Struebing says, "I advise much prayer and a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary Our Queen, Mediatrix of All Graces, through the Rosary. Our Lady more lovingly presents our desires to Jesus than we can, and it is not in Christ's nature to refuse His Mother anything."
