Summary:
The Girls and Boys Town Center for Adolescent and Family Spirituality is dedicated to helping professionals and faith-based organizations make a positive impact on the spiritual and moral development of youth and families. Our programs and materials, designed to support both professionals and volunteers in ministry, integrate the three components of Girls and Boys Town’s research-based Model: teaching skills, building relationships and developing self-discipline. Our workshops provide participants with practical techniques and materials to help them serve youth and families more effectively.
Preferred Ministry Venue:
-Adult Workshops /Training - variety of formats available (1 hr, ½ day, 2 days,
etc.). Will tailor for specific needs/requests.
-Youth presentations.
-Retreats for teens, adults, families.
Spiritual Growth & Moral Development
Caring Skills for Christian Families: Girls and Boys Town has a rich tradition of helping youth and families strengthen their spiritual and moral lives. Caring Skills draws on this tradition, training trainers to teach parents hands-on ways to weave faith into the fabric of daily family life. Presentation for adults.
