Coping –a six-week program for widowed, divorced, and separated adults of all faiths. These sessions are designed to help individuals work through the initial trauma of the death, separation or divorce of a spouse. Sessions are offered throughout the year at various churches in the Omaha area. This program is also offered in Columbus, Nebraska. Pre-registration is not required.

Omaha 2008 Session Dates:

Summer Session: Wednesday—June 29, July 2, 9, 16, 30, 2008 at St. Leo the Great, 1920 North, 102 Street. [the corner or 102nd & Blondo]  at 7:00 P.M.

“Who Am I Now?” for children ages 4- 15 will be held in conjunction with the Coping Sessions for adults.  This program is designed to help children adjust to the changes in family life due to the death of a parent or the divorce or separation of their parents.  The children are placed in age appropriate groups and guided in activities designed to help them express feelings about their experience.  Cost is $10.00 for one child or $15.00 for a family.  Scholarships are available; please ask if needed, we do not want anyone to stay away because of money. Pre-registration IS required.
